My name is Bill Gay. I first got into horses when I moved to Kentucky. I have done a wide variety of equine-related activities, including living history, farming, jousting, and Civil War Reenacting. I am also a member of the 2nd Cavalry Brigade Band, which is a mounted Civil War brass band. I love drilling because it teaches the horse new skills, such as how to rate at different speeds, and it is one of the best ways to keep my horse in shape. My current mount is Shi Silver Cutter, aka George, a 15.1 hand cremello registered Quarter Horse gelding.
